Napa Bay Shrub Cocktail
A locally inspired shrub recipe with a dash of indigenous bay laurel.
1.5 oz AJ Dollarhide Spirit
0.5 oz Canton
0.75 oz Pear and Bay Shrub
0.25 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
0.25 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
3 dashes of apple bitters
3 bay leaves
1 oz ginger beer (recommended: English variety)
Combine everything except ginger beer and give a long, hard shake. Double strain into rocks glass top with ginger beer. Garnish with Bay Laurel.
